The Fundação Arte e Cultura was born with a clear yet deeply transformative mission: connecting people through culture, education, and solidarity. Every day, the Foundation works to bridge generations, territories, and dreams, fostering encounters that leave lasting impressions. From this vision, the Ponte Cultural Project emerged — a dynamic platform for cultural exchange and dialogue. Conceived in collaboration with the renowned Israeli musician Avner Hodorov, founding member of the legendary band Mashina, Hodorov acts as the project’s musical producer and cultural bridge-builder, creating artistic encounters that transcend borders.

Since its inception, Ponte Cultural has celebrated nine editions, bringing together Angolan and international artists in a vibrant showcase of creativity, diversity, and collaboration. What sets Ponte Cultural apart is the process of building bridges. Each edition begins with a creative residency where musicians from different backgrounds come together to share stories, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. Over several days, they prepare a joint performance for the public while collaborating to create an original song — a symbol of their shared artistic journey.
The resulting concerts are open to the public, offering an immersive experience of cultural dialogue. Audiences worldwide can also watch and listen via our digital platforms and YouTube channel,https://www.youtube.com/@ponteculturalproject7029 extending the project’s reach far beyond the stage.

From its first edition, uniting Ângelo Ferrão and Dudu Tassa, Ponte Cultural has consistently fostered unique artistic collaborations.
Over the years, performers have included Jeff Brown and Mooke, Kizua Gourgel and Ellen Oléria, Bruno M and Ravid Kahalani, and Carlos Lopes and Mimesh Nimo Patel. The seventh edition featured a memorable performance by Toto ST and Keziah Jones, followed by a vibrant showcase with Cleiton M, Glória da Lu, Vandro Poster, and Noa Zulu — artists exemplifying today’s global musical diversity. Most recently, Ponte Cultural brought Brazilian singer Maria Gadú to Angola, pairing her with Angolan rapper Prodígio for a powerful and emotional performance. Their collaboration beautifully embodied the project’s essence: uniting the world through culture.
With every rhythm, every story, and every collaboration, Ponte Cultural — guided by the artistic vision of Avner Hodorov — demonstrates that art is not only a source of entertainment but also a powerful connector, inspirer, and transformer of communities across borders.
