Literacy educators involved in the social project “Literacy for Luanda Island” benefited, at the beginning of the month, from a training seminar aimed at strengthening their pedagogical skills.

The main objective of the initiative was to equip participants with appropriate methodological tools for teaching and learning processes involving youth and adults, contributing to the improvement of literacy education quality in the communities covered by the project.

During the seminar, topics related to teaching strategies, learner motivation techniques, and methodologies adapted to the sociocultural realities of adult learners were addressed, promoting more effective and inclusive learning.

The training was led by António Francisco Gaspar, Provincial Director of Youth and Adult Education (EJA), who emphasized the importance of continuous professional development for literacy educators in ensuring the success of policies aimed at combating illiteracy.
